COMPUTATIONAL CHEMICAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH LABORATORY

Computational Chemical Engineering Laboratory was first established in early 2014 and then moved to Ankara University in 2018 to provide a focal point for theoretical and computational chemical engineering and chemistry related research.

Our laboratory enhances research effectiveness and education via interchange of ideas and expertise through regular group meetings, building collaborations with other faculty members of the department, faculty and the other national and international institutions, exposing all members to the diverse set of chemical problems.

Research interests of Computational Chemical Engineering Laboratory mainly focus on the computational materials design and chemical engineering applications of the artificial neural networks.

We are also interested in chemical reactions in extreme environments like interstellar medium.

The pseudo Jahn-Teller Effect, which plays a crucial role in high symmetry breaking and bending instability is one of the research interests of our research group.
