Prof. ERDOĞAN GÜNEŞ

Prof. Dr. Erdogan GUNES

He was born in 1967 in Gaziantep, he started the Department of Agricultural Economics at Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture in 1985 and graduated in 1989. He completed his master's and doctorate degrees in the same faculty, and became an associate professor from the Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Ankara University in 2006, and became a professor in 2012. He is currently working as a faculty member in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Department of Agricultural Management. He served as the vice president of the Food Safety Institute, the president and vice president of the Department of Agricultural Economics at the University, and still has continuing memberships in many professional institutions and organizations. It continues its studies based on education, research, academic research and cooperation with national and international institutions and organizations. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on economics, agricultural management, agricultural finance, entrepreneurship, valuation, food industry management, agricultural industry, agricultural business management and organization, financial management practices in agricultural enterprises, food economics and geopolitics. He has nearly 250 researches, books, book chapters, national and international articles, papers and studies in these fields. He studied in the field of foreign investment in food and agriculture at the University of Florida, USA. He has been in Germany Göttingen, Berlin, Humboldt, Hohenheim Universities for 5 months on the subject of "plant and animal production management, economy and project design in the agricultural field". In 2015, with a Tubitak scholarship, she has been on agricultural finance for one year at Ithaca College, USA. He attended conferences and various seminars in Tunisia, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Bulgaria, Vietnam, South Korea and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on agriculture and food management, food safety, agricultural markets, management and organization in agricultural enterprises.
