Özet:ÖZET “Osmaneli ilçe merkezinde kültürel mirasın korunması ve turizm amaçlı kullanımına yönelik bir araştırma” isimli yüksek lisans tezinde, Osmaneli ilçe merkezinde var olan kültürel miras çekiciliklerinin turizme kazandırılarak korunması konusuna dikkat çekmek ve bu konuda yapılması gerekenleri ortaya koymak ayrıca burada yaşayan yerel halkın konu hakkındaki düşüncelerini tespit etmek hedeflenmiştir. Araştırmanın dayandığı kavramsal temelleri ortaya koymak için öncelikle kültürel miras, kültürel mirasın korunması, turizm, kültür ve miras turizmi, turizm ve koruma kullanma dengesi gibi konularda literatür taraması yapılmıştır. Ardından, yapılan arazi çalışmaları ve çeşitli kurumlardan elde edilen verilere göre araştırma alanına ait haritalar çalışmanın amacına uygun olarak yeniden çizilmiştir. Ayrıca Osmaneli ilçe merkezinde yaşayan yerel halkın konuya bakış açılarını tespit etmek için bir anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Osmaneli ilçe merkezindeki kültürel mirasın ayrıntılı dökümü hazırlanmıştır ve Osmaneli ilçe merkezinde koruma ve turizm çalışmalarında izlenecek bir yol haritası hazırlanmıştır. Ayrıca anket çalışması ile yerel halkın turizm konusuna olumlu baktıkları ve turizmi destekledikleri sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. ABSTRACT In the master thesis which is named “An investigation for the center of Osmaneli district conservation of cultural heritage and using for touristic purposes” the main aims of the study; draw attention to the issue of cultural heritage in the Center of Osmanleli District and importance its for using touristic purposes, the other aim put forward about what should be done about this matter and also aimed to determine local people’s thoughts on this issue. In order to demonstrate conceptual foundations of the research, primarily literature were reviewed about this issues; cultural heritage, cultural heritage protection, tourism, cultural and heritage tourism, tourism and the protection-usage balance etc. Then, according to field studies and the other findings; maps of the research area were re-drawn for the purpose of research. Also the questionnaire study carried out, in order to determine perspectives to the local people who live in the center of Osmaneli. As a result of this investigation; a detailed breakdown about cultural heritage at the Center of Osmaneli District was prepared and a road map was drawn to fallow conservation and tourism studies at the Center of Osmaneli. In addition to this, based on survey work, the fallowing conclusions have been reached; local people look positively tourism issue and they support tourism.
