Özet:Bu çalışmanın konusunu günümüz Mısır edebiyatının önde gelen gerçekçi yazarlarından ᶜAlāᵓ el-ᵓAsvān ì oluşturmaktadır. Mısır’ın toplumsal gerçekçi yazarı ᶜAlāᵓ el-ᵓAsvān ì tarafından kaleme alınan ᶜİmāret Yaᶜḳūbyān adlı roman, toplumun siyasi ve sosyal yapısına ayna tutar niteliktedir. Yazar, farklı kültürlerden insanların bir arada yaşadığı apartman üzerinden Mısır’ın geçirdiği değişimi gözler önüne sermektedir. Bu çalışmada yazarın eleştiri unsurları detaylı bir şekilde incelenerek kitabın dil ve anlatım özellikleri üzerinde durulmaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde Mısır’da roman türünün gelişimi üzerinde durulmakta, roman türünün ortaya çıkışına imkân sağlayan hadiseler aktarılmaktadır. İkinci bölüm ise ᶜAlāᵓ el-ᵓAsvān ì ’ye ayrılmaktadır. Yazarın hayatı, eğitimi, yazma serüveninden bahsedilerek edebî kişiliği, eserleri ve aldığı ödüller konu edilmektedir. Üçüncü bölüm ise, ᶜİmāret Yaᶜḳūbyān adlı romanın tanıtılması ile başlamaktadır. Roman unsurlarının yer aldığı yapı bölümü, sosyal eleştirinin temel oluşturduğu tema bölümü, anlatıcı ve dil-üslup bölümünün alt başlıklarını oluşturduğu anlatım özellikleri bölümünden oluşmaktadır. Sonuç bölümünde ise genel olarak ulaşılan tespitlere yer verilmiştir. The subject of this study is one of the leading realistic writers of contemporary Egyptian literature ᶜAlāᵓ el-ᵓAsvān ì . The novel ᶜİmāret Yaᶜḳūbyān, written by Egypt's social realist author ᶜAlāᵓ el-ᵓAsvān ì , mention the political and social structure of society. The author reveals the radical change in Egypt through the apartment building where people from different cultures live together. In this study, the criticism elements of the author are examined in detail and the language and expression features of the book are emphasized. In the first part of the study, the development of the novel genre in Egypt is emphasized and the events that allow the emergence of the novel genre are explained. The second part is devoted to ᶜAlāᵓ el-ᵓAsvān ì . The author’s life, education, writing process are mentioned and his literary personality, his works and the awards he receives are discussed. The third chapter begins with the introduction of the novel ᶜİmāret Yaᶜḳūbyān. This section consists of three subtitles: structure, theme and narrative features. In the structure section, novel elements, in theme section social criticism and in the narrative features section narrator and language and style features are mentioned. The conclusion section has included general findings related to the subject.
