Özet:Bu çalışma, Türkiye'deki konservatuvarların opera anasanat dalında yürütülen yardımcı piyano dersinin öğretim elemanları ve öğrencilerin görüşleri doğrultusunda mevcut durumunu incelemeyi amaçlayan betimsel bir çalışmadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, veri toplamak için iki çalışma grubundan yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın 1. çalışma grubunu; 2017 yılı itibarıyla Türkiye'de eğitim ve öğretime devam eden Ankara Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı'ndan beş, Anadolu Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvar'ndan üç, Konya Selçuk Üniversitesi Dilek Sabancı Devlet Konservatuvarı'ndan iki, Başkent Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı'ndan üç öğretim elemanı oluşturmuştur. Tezin ikinci çalışma grubunu ise bu dört okulun opera anasanat dalı öğrencileri oluşturmuştur. Çalışma gruplarından öğretim elemanlarına, tezin alt amaçları doğrultusunda araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan görüşme formu ve öğrenci gruplarına da tezin alt amaçları doğrultusunda araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan anket uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, tablolaştırılmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Bulgular sonucunda, opera anasanat dalındaki yardımcı piyano dersine ilişkin sorunlar saptanmış ve bu sorunlara çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. The present study is a descriptive research which strives to investigate current status of secondary piano course taught at the voice departments of the conservatories on the basis of the opinions of faculty members and students. To that end, two different study groups were utilized during data collection phase. In terms of the first study group of the research, of the faculty members who taught at the state conservatories founded under universities across Turkey as of 2017; five academicians from Ankara University; three academicians from Anadolu University; two academicians from Konya Selçuk University; and three academicians from Başkent University. In terms of the second study group included in the research group, students from voice departments of these four universities were included in. The first study group comprised of faculty members was asked to fill in an interview form prepared by the researcher in line with the objective of the study. Obtained findings were exhibited in tables and interpreted. On the basis of these findings, opinions of respondents and problems with the secondary piano course taught at the voice department were determined and relevant suggestions for resolution of these problems were drawn.
