Özet:Girişle beraber üç ana bölümden oluşan araştırmamızın konusu Sünnet'e ittibâın anlam ve kapsamıdır. Giriş bölümünde araştırmamızın içerik, önem, amaç ve yöntemine dair bazı bilgiler verildikten sonra kavramlara geçilmiş, burada "sünnet", "ittibâ" ve "teessî" kavramları ele alınmıştır. İlk bölümde, Sünnet'in esas amaçlarının genel olarak ifade edilmesi açısından kısaca; "İslam'ın genel amaçları", "Hz. Peygamber'in vazifeleri" ve "Hz. Peygamber'in peygamberliğinin bazı işlevleri" olarak üç kısım işlenmiştir. Bu noktada İslam'ın temel dayanağı olan Kur'ân'dan yola çıkılarak, "Hz. Peygamber ve Kur'ân niçin gönderildi?" gibi soruların cevapları aranmış ve ayetler üzerinden bulunan cevaplar ile Sünnet/Sünnet'e ittibâ arasında ilişki kurulmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde, Hz. Peygamber'in fiilleri, alt başlıklarıyla beraber, genel bir kapsamla "dinî" ve "dünyevî" olmak üzere iki kısma ayrılmıştır. Böyle bir ayrımın temel hareket noktası, Hz. Peygamber'in ittibâa mutlak anlamda konu olan ve olmayan fiillerinin ortaya konulması ve diğer insanların sorumlulukları noktasındaki önceliğin ne olması gerektiğinin açıklanmasıdır. Üçüncü bölümde ise, Sünnet'e ittibâ noktasında, Hz. Peygamber'in işlediği fiillerin doğru anlaşılabilmesi için onların; amaç, niyet, süreklilik ve şartlar gibi, çeşitli açılardan incelenmesine çalışılmıştır. The subject matter of the study, consists of an introduction and three other chapters, is the meaning and scope of following the Sunnah. In the introduction, after informing about the content, importance, purpose and method of the study, the concepts of "sunnah", "ittibâ" (following), "ta'assi" (imitation) were examined. In the first chapter, some matters were examined as "the general purposes of Islam", "the duties of the Prophet (Mohammad)" and "some functions of the Prophet as a prophet" to express the main purposes of the Sunnah generally. At this point, some questions such as "Why were the Prophet and the Quran sent?" were tried to be answered by moving from the Quran which is the main source of Islam. And by founded answers, the contact was tried to be made between the answers and the Sunnah or following the Sunnah. In the second chapter, the actions of the Prophet (Mohammad) were divided into two main parts as "religious" and "worldly". The main purpose of this is to show which actions are absolutely required to be followed and which are not required. In the third chapter, the actions of the Prophet were examined from various aspects such as purpose, intention, persistence and conditions to understand matter of following the Sunnah more accurately.
