Özet:

Yoksulluk ve din üzerine kurulu olan bu tezin konusu, nitel yaklaşımın sunduğu avantaj ve birikimle, dinin yoksulluğun sebep olduğu olumsuz sosyal ve psikolojik durumlar üzerindeki her türlü etkilerini açıklamak ve betimsel olarak tanımlamaktır. Giriş bölümü araştırmanın amacı ve önemi, konusu ve problemi, metedolojisi, dini araştırmaların örneklerinin verilmesi ve literatürün sunulması şeklinde oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma kuramsal ve uygulamalı olmak üzere iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın ana çerçevesi tipik durum örneklemesi ile seçilen örneklemden elde edilen verilere dayanmaktadır. Birinci bölümde yoksulluğun tanımı ve boyutları üzerinde durulmuş, diğer dinlerin ve İslam dininin yoksulluk problemine bakışları ele alınmıştır. Yoksulluğa sosyolojik yaklaşımın sınırları çizilmiş, yoksulluk teorileri çerçevesinde değerlendirmeler yapılmış, son olarak araştırma evreni olan Kütahya ili hakkında bilgilendirmeler yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde ise araştırmanın ana gövdesini oluşturan veriler sunulmuştur. Bu yapılırken araştırma aracı olarak kullanılan yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlarla elde edilen bilgiler kullanılmıştır. Hayat memnuniyeti, değersizlik hissi, toplumsal dışlanma, yoksulluğun neden ve sonuçları, umutsuzluk hissi ve yoksulun dini yaşantısı gibi sosyal parametreler çerçevesinde özgün olarak oluşan veriler yorumlarla desteklenmiş, ilgili araştırmaların sonuçlarıyla karşılaştırmalar yapılarak sunulmuştur. Sonuç olarak seküler değerlerin ve tüketim kültürünün etkisini her geçen gün biraz daha hissettirmesiyle birlikte yoksulluğun ve onun getirdiği sosyal sonuçlarının ülkemiz toplumunda daha derinden hissedildiği aşikardır. Araştırmamız dinin yoksulluğun ortaya çıkardığı her boyuttaki kırılmalara karşı bir reaksiyonunun olduğunu sahadan örneklerle ve yoksul bireylerin kendi kelimeleriyle ortaya koymaktadır. Bu yönüyle araştırmanın en alt sosyo-ekonomik düzeyde bulunanların dine yaklaşımları ile toplumsal hayatı anlamlandırmalarında dinin oynadığı rolün keşfedilmesine fayda sağlayacağını düşünüyoruz. Aynı zamanda yoksulluk, din ve din hizmetleri ile ilgili sorunların çözülmesine ve yeni anlayışların geliştirilmesine hizmet edeceğini umut ediyoruz. Anahtar Kelimeler: Yoksulluk, Din, Sosyal Parametreler, Hayat Memnuniyeti, Toplumsal Dışlanma, Umutsuzluk The subject of the thesis, which based on religion and poverty, explains and defines any influence of religion descriptively on negative psychological and social states that caused by poverty with the advantages and accumulation of the qualitative approach . The study consists of an introduction and two sections. In the introduction, the purpose and the importance of research, the subject matter and its problems, methodology, giving the example of religious studies and the relevant literatüre have been explained. The study consists of two parts, namely theoretical and practical. However, the main frame of study is based on data obtained from the sample selected by a typical case sampling. In the first chapter, it concentrates on the definition of poverty and sizes, the views of other religions and Islam on poverty problems. The borders have been drawn of sociological approach for poverty, evaluations have been performed within the framework of poverty theories. Finally, information about the research universe Kütahya has been given. The second chapter presents data that make up the main body of the study. While doing this, data obtained from semi-structured interviews as a tool has been used. The data ,which was created originally in the framework of social parameters such as life satisfaction, feelings of worthlessness, social exclusion, the causes and consequences of poverty, hopelessness, and poor religious, was supported with comments and also was presented by making comparisons with the results of relevant researches. As a result, it is obvious that along with the increasing effect of the secular values and consumer culture, poverty and its social consequences has been more deeply felt by day by in the society of our country. The research reveals that the religion had reaction against breakage any size through the examples in the field and own sayings of the poor. In this aspect, we think that the research will be useful to discover the role of the religion for the lower socio-economic class that is getting the meaning of the social life and their approach to religion. At the same time we hope that this study contribute to develop various policies to solve the recent problems regarding religion, poverty, politics and religious services.
