Özet:İlk dönem Kilise babalarının reddiye türündeki eserlerini kaynak gösteren çoğu araştırmacı, Yeni Ahit kanonunun Simon Magus gibi figürlerini de göz önüne alarak gnostisizmin Hıristiyanlığın sapkın bir kolu olduğunu ileri sürmüştür. Ancak 1945'te keşfedilen Nag Hammadi literatürü, bu kanının doğru olmadığını ortaya koymuştur. Bu çalışmada, gnostisizmin Hıristiyanlığın doğuşundan önce var olan bir gelenek olduğu ve bünyesindeki Yahudilik ve antik Yunan felsefesi etkileriyle çeşitli mistik hareketler ile özelde Hıristiyanlığı etkilemesi durumu konu edilmiştir. Çalışmada, gnostisizmin temel ilkeleri Nag Hammadi yazmaları referans alınarak belirlendikten sonra Hıristiyanlığın temel öğretileriyle uyuşan noktaları karşılaştırmalı olarak ele alınmış ve Yeni Ahit'in kutsal metinlerindeki gnostik unsurlar; Sinoptik İnciller, Yuhanna İncili ve Pavlus'un Mektupları özelinde ayrı ayrı incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışma, Hıristiyan öğretisindeki gnostisizmle ilintili olduğu düşünülen kavramların tarihi zeminde temellendirilmesi yöntemi izlenerek ele alınmıştır. Many researchers citing the denial-style works of the Church fathers in the early period suggested that gnosticism was a heretic branch of Christianity, taking into account the figures of the New Testament canon, such as Simon Magus. However, the literature of Nag Hammadi, discovered in 1945, revealed that this opinion was not correct. In this study, it was discussed that gnosticism was a tradition that existed before the birth of Christianity and that it affected Christianity in particular by various mystical movements with the effects of Judaism and ancient Greek philosophy within its structure. In the study, after determining the basic principles of gnosticism with reference to the writings of Nag Hammadi, the points that match the basic teachings of Christianity are examined comparatively The gnostic elements have been studied separately in the light of holy texts of the New Testament; Synoptic Bibles and the Gospel of John and the Letters of Paul. In addition, this study was handled by following the method of basing the concepts that are thought to be related to gnosticism in Christian teaching on the historical background.
