Özet:Mevlana, on üçüncü yüzyılın en önemli şair ve düşünürlerinden birisidir. Mevlana, şiir ve nesir türü eserleriyle İslam kültürüne damgasını vurmuştur. Bu çalışma Mevlana’nın dinî tecrübesini ele almaktadır. Onun tecrübesi, İslam geleneğinden farklı bir çizgidedir. Ayrıca o, mistik gelenek içinde de farklı bir çizgiye sahiptir. Bu tez, üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde, dinî tecrübe; din ve tecrübe kavramlarından yola çıkarak tanımlanmaktadır. Daha sonra dinî tecrübenin özelliklerine, çeşitlerine değinilerek onu oluşturan psikolojik, sosyolojik ve dinî etmenler ele alınmaktadır. İkinci bölümde, Tanrı’nın varlığına delil olarak dinî tecrübe tartışılmaktadır. Birinci ve ikinci bölüm, daha sonraki bölümlerin anlaşılması açısından çok önemlidir. Üçüncü bölüm, birinci bölüme paralel olarak Mevlana’nın dinî tecrübe anlayışını; din ve tecrübe kavramlarına getirdiği tanımlar çerçevesinde ortaya koymaktadır. Sonra da Mevlana’nın dinî tecrübesinin özellikleri, çeşitleri tek tek ele alınıp incelenmektedir. Bu tecrübeyi (aşkı) oluşturan psikolojik, sosyolojik ve dinî etmenler ele alınmaktadır. Mevlana’nın din tecrübesini Tanrı’nın varlığını delillendirme konusu olarak ortaya koymaktadır. Tanrı anlayışına açıklık getirmek için onun ‘delil’ anlayışı incelenmektedir. Ardından sezgi anlayışı; aşk, akıl, duygu hakkındaki düşünceleri ile bağlantılı olarak ortaya konmaktadır. En son, onun aşk tecrübesinin Tanrı’nın varlığına delil olmadığı gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. AbstractRumi is one of the most important poets and thinkers of the XIII. century. His Works of poetry and prose had an enormous effect on the culture of Islam. This paper deals with Rumi’s religious experience. His experience differs from that of the Islamic tradition. It also differs from the mystic culture as well. This thesis is composed of three chapters. In the first chapter religious experience is defined with the concepts of religion and experience. Furthermore, the characteristics and types of religious experience are studied with regards to the psychological, sociological and religious affects that form them. In the second chapter religious experience is studied as a proof of the existence of God. These first to chapters are very important in order to comprehend the remaining chapters. The third chapter demonstrates Rumi’s religious experience with his definitions of the concepts of religion and experience in parallel with the first chapter. Then, the characteristics and types of Rumi’s religious experience are studied individually. The psychological, sociological and religious motives that bring about this experience (love) are examined. Rumi’s religious experience as a matter of evidence for the existence of God. His understanding of evidence is studied in order to shed light on his understanding of God. Then his understanding of intuition is explained with his thoughts about love, reason and emotion. Finally, it is tried to be shown that his experience of love is not a proof for the existence of God.
