Özet:Abstract: Seeing quality is a very essential paramater for astronomical observatories. Knowing the seeing values, especially, is necessary for astrometric observations. Astronomical seeing describes an angular limit at which the point sources in the sky can be seperated from each other. Seeing values at the Ankara University Observatory are measured based on the DIMM ( Diferential Image Motion Monitor) technique. DIMM measurements obtained for one year of time interval are reported for the first time for the Ankara University Observatory. The results show an average value of 1''.29±0''.22 and median value of 1''.24±0''.22 with having a changing interval between 0''.89 and 2''.08. The level of light pollution at the Ankara University Observatory is also determined by using an SQM (Sky Quality Meter) device. It describes an average magnitude limit of 18.33 magnitude/ arcsec² for the observatory.
