Özet:Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgeleri üniversite-sanayi işbirliğinin somut olarak yapıldığı yerlerdir. Ülkemizde de 2001 yılında yürürlüğe giren 4691 sayılı Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgeleri Kanunu ile daha da önem kazanmıştır. Yapılan bu çalışmada amaç, Ankara Üniversitesi Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi’nde bulunan firmaların inovasyon yapma eğilimleri ile üniversitelerle olan işbirlikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi anlamak ve üniversite-sanayi işbirliğini geliştirmeye yönelik öneriler getirmektir.Bunun için öncelikle üniversite-sanayi işbirliği kavramı, gelişimi, önemi, teknoloji ile ilişkisi ve seçili ülkelerdeki durumuna ilişkin örnekler verilerek karşılaştırmalı olarak Türkiye’deki üniversite-sanayi işbirliğinin mevcut durumu ortaya konmuştur. Ayrıca, teknoloji geliştirme bölgeleri detaylı bir şekilde anlatılarak bunların üniversite ile işbirlikleri ve bu işbirliklerini etkileyen faktörlere değinilmiştir. Sonrasında ise Ankara Üniversitesi Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi firmalarının inovasyon yapma eğilimleri ile üniversiteyle yaptıkları işbirlikleri arasındaki ilişkiyi anlamak ve bu işbirliklerinde karşılaşılan sorunları analiz etmek amacıyla firma yöneticilerine anket çalışması uygulanmış ve anket sonuçları değerlendirilerek öneriler sunulmuştur.AbstractTechnoparks are the places where university-industry cooperation take place and in Turkey, these technoparks became more crucial after the Law of Technology Development Areas was enacted in 2001. The aim of this article is to analyze the relation between the frequency of the university-industry cooperation and the tendency to do innovative studies. In addition to this, some advices related to the development of university-industry cooperation are submitted.Therefore, first of all, this article examines the concept, development and importance of university-industry cooperation as well as its relationship with the technology. Then the current status of the university-industry cooperation and the importance of science and technology policies at the selected countries are given and compared with Turkey. Then, the technoparks, their relationships with universities and the factors affecting this relationship are described in detail. At the end, in order to understand the relationship between the firms’ tendency to do innovative studies and frequency to cooperate with universities, an empirical study has been conducted. The sample of research has been chosen from among the firms located at Ankara University Technology Development Area. It was aimed to collect the statistical data about the firms on the related subjects. In the last section of this research, the findings of the questionnaire have been analyzed.
