Özet:Bu çalışmada, Erzurum ve Oltu’da; Oltu Taşı İşlemeciliği teknikleri ile üretilen ürünler ve Oltu Taşı İşlemeciliğinin günümüzdeki durumu araştırılmıştır. Ürünlerin yapımında uygulanan üretim ve süsleme teknikleri, bu tekniklerin yapım aşamaları, ürünlerin yapımında kullanılan araçlar, üretilen ürünler ve özellikleri ve Oltu Taşı İşlemeciliği ile uğraşan bireylerin özellikleri belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca; Oltu Taşı tespih üretiminin aşamaları belirlenmiş ve fotoğrafları ile beraber ayrıntılı olarak açıklanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında; Oltu Taşı İşlemeciliği teknikleri ile üretilen ürünler incelenmiş, fotoğraflanmış ve ürünlerin özellikleri hazırlanan bilgi formlarında sunulmuştur. Ürünlerin yapımında uygulanan üretim ve süsleme teknikleri, bu tekniklerin yapım aşamaları fotoğraflarla desteklenerek tespit edilmiştir. Oltu Taşı İşlemeciliği ile uğraşan bireylere uygulanan görüşme formları ile elde edilen bilgiler değerlendirilmiş ve bireylerin demografik özellikleri, Oltu Taşı işlemeciliği ile ilgili mesleki bilgileri, çalışma koşulları, sağlık sorunları belirlenmiştir.Abstract In this study, crafts produced with the techniques of Oltu Stone Working and its current state have been explored in Erzurum and Oltu. Production and decoration techniques used in the process of crafts, the production stages of these techniques, the tools used in the production of the crafts, the crafts produced and their characteristics along with the characteristics of the individuals involved in Oltu Stone Working have been identified. Furthermore, the stages of Oltu Stone rosary production have been defined and explained with its photographs in detail. Within the study, crafts produced with the techniques of Oltu Stone Working have been examined, photographed and the characteristics of the crafts have been presented in the inventory forms prepared in advance. Production and decoration techniques applied in the production of crafts and the production stages of these techniques have been identified with the support of photographs. The information gathered via the interview forms applied to the individuals involved in Oltu Stone Working has been evaluated and their demographic characteristics, professional knowledge related to Oltu Stone Working, Working conditions, health problems have been identified in the study.
