Özet:Bu çalışmada lise tarih ders kitaplarında İslam tarihi konu anlatımının nasıl bir değişim gösterdiği araştırılmış ve Türkiye'de 1923-1960 arasında liselerde okutulan tarih ders kitapları incelenmiştir. Çalışma; giriş, sonuç, kaynaklar, ekler hariç üç ana bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde tezin tarihsel arka planı olarak Osmanlı Devletinde Eğitim-Öğretim, Din ve Tarih Öğretimi incelenmiştir. Birinci Bölümde, Atatürk Dönemi Eğitim-Öğretim Faaliyetleri Ve Lise Tarih Ders Kitapları; İnönü Dönemi Eğitim-Öğretim Ve Lise Tarih Ders Kitapları; Demokrat Parti Dönemi Eğitim-Öğretim Lise Tarih Ders Kitapları; İkinci ve Üçüncü Bölümde; 1923-1960 arası Lise Tarih Ders Kitaplarında İslam Tarihi Konu Anlatımı, İlk Müslüman Türk Devletleri ve İslam Medeniyet Tarihi konuları araştırılmıştır. İncelenen dönem tarih ders kitaplarında Atatürk Döneminde Türk Tarih Tezi, İnönü Döneminde Hümanist tarih anlayışı ve Demokrat Parti döneminde hem Türk Tarih Tezi hem de Hümanist tarih anlayışının etkileri görülmekle beraber Türk İslam Sentezine doğru bir etki görülmektedir. Araştırmanın konu ve yöntemi itibariyle, ortaya koyduğu sonuçlarla farklı bakış açıları geliştireceği ve ilgili alana katkı sağlayacağı ümit edilmektedir. In this study, change process of Islamic history instruction in high school history textbooks has been researched. History textbooks taught in high schools between 1923 and 1960 in Turkey has been investigated. This study consists of three main sections except introduction, conclusion, references and appendices. In the introduction part; education and instruction in the Ottoman State as well as religion and history instruction has been studied as the historical background of this thesis. In the first section, educational and instructional facilities in high school history textbooks are analyzed in three different periods namely Atatürk Period, İnönü Period and Democratic Party Period. In the second and third section; instruction of Islamic History, first Muslim Turkish States and History of Islamic Civilization in the history textbooks between the years 1923 and 1960 has been investigated. In the history textbooks which are examined, effects of Turkish History Thesis have been observed in Atatürk Period. In the İnönü period, influences of humanistic perception of history have been monitored. In Democratic Party period, impacts of both Turkish History Thesis and humanistic perception of history have been observed but it has shown a tendency to Turkish Islamic Synthesis. Considering the subject and method, it is expected that this study will develop different viewpoints by means of the results it put forward and it will contribute to the relevant field.
