In TAPPEO two Papers Have Been Accepted to be Presented in ARLE 2026 Congress

In TAPPEO project our two  papers have been accepted to present in the ARLE / IFTE 2026 – Barcelona 2026 “The Unbounded Journey: The Teaching of First Language, Literacy, and Literature in a Dynamic World” June 25–27, 2026 conference!

Titles of the papers are,

– Equipping Teachers for Plurilingual Education with Young Learners: Insights from Workshops in a European Context, Asuman Fulya Soğuksu, Özlem Kanat, Berna Aslan
– An Analysis of Teachers’ Needs in Supporting the Language Development of Immigrant Children, Özlem Kanat, Asuman Fulya Soğuksu, Berna Aslan

The 15th congress organized by the International Association for Research in L1 Education (ARLE) addresses mother language education from a multifaceted perspective. The theme of the scientific congress in 2026 is “Unlimited Journey - First Language and Literature Education in a Dynamic World.” The congress aims to draw attention to access, language, relationality and technology in first language education on a global scale in the post-pandemic era and with the increasing prevalence of artificial intelligence in education. The congress invites participants to consider the role and importance of concepts such as place (and displacement), storytelling, technologies, diversity, identities, and agency in first language research and practice.
