Abstract:

Bu tez çalışmasında, ilk olarak aydınlatma optiği, fotometri ve radyometri ile ilgili temel kavramlar gözden geçirilmiştir. Daha sonra, LCD arka ışık ünitelerinde kullanılan birimler ve LightTools optik tasarım programı anlatılmıştır. Son olarak, LightTools optik tasarım programı kullanılarak aynı ölçülerde arka ve kenar-aydınlatmalı LCD arka ışık üniteleri tasarlanmış ve optik özellikleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu tez kapsamında tasarlanan arka ışık üniteleri üretilebilir durumdadır. In this thesis, firstly the basic concepts of lighting optics, photometry and radiometry were reviewed. Then, the units used in LCD backlight units and LightTools optical design program are explained. Finally, using the LightTools optical design program, the same size back and edge-lit LCD backlight units were designed and their optical properties were compared. The backlight units designed within the scope of this thesis can be produced.
