Abstract

In this study, some analgesic compounds were synthesised by inspiring active structure of Benorylate. It was hoped to reach more active compounds, like benorylate, by combining of two analgesically active structures together, in an ester form. It was also aimed to create some possible advantages of te togetherness of two active compounds by reducing their concentration and consequently the exposure of gastrointestinal mucosa to each active drugs, during absorption. This was very important for patient compliance and convenience of the therapy with multiple drugs. Lipophilic character of synthesised compounds was also tested by using three different parameters; logP, Rf and Rm, respectively. The results indicated that, all compounds were more lipophilic than the parent compounds. Analgesic activity of the compounds was studied by using writing test and they were found almost to be as active as of the parent compounds.
